IL TEAM RENZI CORSE È PRONTO AL DEBUTTO STAGIONALE

Il Team Renzi Corse è pronto al suo debutto stagionale nella WorldSSP che si terrà questo weekend sul circuito di Barcellona. Per Stefano Renzi, e tutta la sua squadra, l’emozione è tanta, ma sono pronti a dimostrare di avere tutte le carte in regola per competere con i protagonisti delle passate stagioni, merito anche della fiducia acquisita durante i test pre-stagionali effettuati.

Il team romano si trova così ad affrontare anche il primo round della categoria FIM WorldSSP Challenge, un campionato che combacia con tutte le tappe europee del FIM WorldSSP e che scatterà proprio dal circuito di Montmeló.

Il Circuito de Barcelona è un tracciato di 4.657 metri composto da ben quattordici curve: 8 a destra e 6 a sinistra, si trova a meno di 30 chilometri dalla città di Barcellona ed è il fiore all’occhiello del capoluogo catalano. Il circuito venne inaugurato in vista dei Giochi Olimpici del 1992 e, ad oggi, è uno dei tracciati più importanti sia per competizioni motociclistiche, che per quelle automobilistiche.

Per Simone Corsi questo sarà sicuramente un weekend di grandi novità, ma la sua certezza più grande sarà proprio la pista che conosce bene grazie alla sua esperienza decennale in Moto2. Team e pilota sono quindi più che pronti per affrontare questa primo round del WorldSSP!

"Siamo pronti per questa prima gara della stagione. È stato un inverno lungo, ma finalmente si torna a gareggiare, che è ciò che mi piace fare! Barcellona è una pista dove ho corso per tanti anni, ma non ho mai girato con una SuperSport. Con il nuovo format avremo solo un turno di libere; sarà, quindi, importante trovare fin da subito un buon setup per fare una buona qualifica! Quest’anno la SuperSport è’ molto competitiva e per noi tutto sarà nuovo! Mi piacerebbe regalare già dal primo round un buon risultato alla squadra; quindi, ce la metterò tutta per fare un buon lavoro! Ci vediamo a Barcellona!”

TEAM RENZI CORSE READY FOR ITS SEASON DEBUT

Team Renzi Corse is ready make its season debut in WorldSSP, which will take place this weekend at the Barcelona circuit. Emotions are running high for Stefano Renzi and his entire team, who are ready to prove they have what it takes to compete with the championship’s frontrunners, thanks also to the confidence gained during pre-season testing.

The Italian team will compete in round one of the FIM WorldSSP Challenge category, a championship that comprises the European FIM WorldSSP rounds and that will kick off at the Montmeló track.

The Circuit de Barcelona measures 4.657 kilometres in length and incorporates fourteen corners, eight of which are right-handers and six left. It is located less than 30 kilometres from the city of Barcelona and represents the city’s pride and joy. The circuit was inaugurated ahead of the 1992 Olympic Games and has established itself as one of the world’s most important tracks for car and motorcycle racing.


The weekend will bring many new things for rider Simone Corsi, but he can at least count on excellent track knowledge, after a decade of competition in Moto2. The team and rider are more than ready for this first WorldSSP round!

“We’re ready for these first races of the season. It’s been a long winter but now we can finally race, which is what I like to do!
I’ve raced at Barcelona for many years, but never with a Supersport. With the new format, we’ll only have one practice, so it will be important to find a good setup right away if we want to have a good qualifying session. Supersport is going to be very competitive this year, and it’s all new to us. I’d love to give the team a good result already at round one, so I’ll do my best to do a good job! See you at Barcelona.”
