IL TEAM RENZI CORSE TORNA DA VALENCIA CON BUONE SENSAZIONI

Si sono da poco concluse le tre giornate di test nel Circuito Ricardo Tormo di Valencia per il Team Renzi Corse. Un weekend performante a livello tecnico, dove Simone Corsi è riuscito a trovare sempre più feeling in vista dell’avvicinarsi del primo round stagionale di Catalunya il 22 – 24 marzo prossimi, ma agrodolce dal punto di vista umano a causa, purtroppo, dell’incidente mortale che ha visto coinvolto un giovane pilota italiano.
Nonostante un meteo non del tutto favorevole, il pilota romano è riuscito a concludere il weekend con un best lap di 01’36.302 sulla sua Ducati V2 2024. Ottimo risultato considerando che, in tre giorni di test, i piloti sono riusciti a scendere in pista pochissime volte, sessanta lap per la precisione.
Ora la squadra scenderà in pista per le ultime giornate di test sull’autodromo “Piero Taruffi” di Vallelunga, il 4 e 5 marzo prossimi, per definire gli ultimi dettagli e, sperando nelle temperature ottimali, poter provare le mescole morbide.

Non siamo riusciti a girare molto a causa della pioggia, l’unico giorno in cui il meteo ci ha graziati è stata la domenica, ma comunque il freddo non ci ha permesso di testare le mescole morbide. Ringrazio il nostro pilota per l’impegno messo durante i test e tutta la squadra per essere sempre al top dal punto di vista tecnico. Un grazie soprattutto a tutti i nostri partners che ci supportano!”

TEAM RENZI CORSE RETURNS FROM VALENCIA WITH POSITIVE SENSATIONS

Team Renzi Corse has completed a three-day test at Valencia’s Circuito Ricardo Tormo. The weekend brought solid technical performance, with Simone Corsi able to find increasing feeling with his bike ahead of the first round of the season in Catalunya on 22-24 March, but also tragedy, in that young Italian rider Andrea Bergamelli suffered a fatal accident.
Despite less than favourable conditions, Corsi was able to conclude the weekend with a fastest time of 01’36.302 aboard his 2024 Ducati V2. An excellent result considering that the Italian rider had limited track time over the three-day session, only completing sixty laps in total.
The team will next test on 4-5 March at the “Piero Taruffi” circuit in Vallelunga, taking the opportunity to define the final details and test some soft tyre compounds, weather conditions depending.

We couldn’t ride much due to the rain and though Sunday was the best day, the cold temperatures didn’t allow us to test the soft compounds.
