NUOVE SFIDE DA MONDIALE PER IL TEAM RENZI CORSE

Si avvicina l’inizio di questa stagione motociclistica ed il Team Renzi Corse, dopo essere stato tra i protagonisti della Supersport600 nel 2023 al Campionato Italiano Velocità, affronterà una nuova sfida: la FIM Supersport World Championship.
Un grande passo per il Team romano nato nel 2014 grazie alla passione e all’esperienza come pilota del Team Principal Stefano Renzi. Il sodalizio ormai di oltre due anni con il marchio DUCATI ha portato ai suoi frutti anni di duro lavoro ed una continua crescita tecnica, arrivando poi a competere in questa stagione a ben 11 round nella categoria WorldSSP, all’interno dello scenario WorldSBK.
Non sono finite le novità perché il Team schiererà il campione italiano in carica della Supersport600, nonché pilota con esperienza da mondiale, Simone Corsi. Per la prima volta il pilota delle Fiamme Oro gareggerà su Ducati e, dopo Jerez a dicembre 2023, lo rifarà proprio nelle giornate di test del 09, 10 e 11 febbraio sul Circuito Ricardo Tormo di Valencia. Dopo lo shakedown di Valencia i prossimi test sono in programma nei giorni 4 e 5 Marzo a Vallelunga, nei quali Corsi ed il suo team metteranno a punto la loro Ducati V2, in vista della prima gara a Barcellona.
Il Team Renzi corse ha quindi ancora a disposizione circa due mesi per affinare ogni dettaglio prima di scendere in pista per l’inizio della stagione che avrà i seguenti appuntamenti:

So che non sarà facile perché ci sono molti piloti veloci quest’anno ma, il nostro obbiettivo, sia mio che del team, è stare più vicino possibile alle posizioni che contano. TEAM RENZI CORSE TAKES TO THE WORLD STAGE

Rome, 8 February 2024 – The racing season draws ever closer and Team Renzi Corse, frontrunners in Supersport600 in the 2023 Italian CIV championship, prepare to take on a new challenge, competing in the FIM Supersport World Championship.

A big step for the Italian squad, conceived in 2014 thanks to the passion and experience of former rider and now Team Principal, Stefano Renzi. Many years of hard work and continuous technical growth are paying off for the team, which has been partnered with the DUCATI brand for the last two years. 2024 will see the squad compete in eleven rounds of the WorldSSP championship, which runs along WorldSBK.

And there is more, in that the team will field current Italian Supersport600 champion, Simone Corsi, a rider who already has world championship experience. This is the first time that the Fiamme Oro rider will race with a Ducati and, after testing at Jerez in December 2023, he will be back on track on 9-11 February when the team tests at the Circuito Ricardo Tormo in Valencia. Following the Valencia shakedown, further sessions are scheduled for 4-5 March at Vallelunga, where Corsi and his team will look to fine tune the Ducati V2 ahead of the first races at Barcelona.

Team Renzi Corse has roughly two months in which to refine the details before tackling its first races of the season. Here below, the team’s racing schedule:
